Yves Coueslant, one of the founders of the Maison, spent the summers of his childhood in Do Son, in the Bay of Ha Long.
The sea breeze brought with it the intoxicating, spicy scent of tuberoses. Do Son has the delicacy and persistence of the memory of a childhood spent in Indochina.
