When Edouard Manet's painting “Le déjeuner sur l'herbe” was exhibited in Paris in 1863, it caused a real scandal. The scene, which depicts two fully clothed men and a naked woman during a picnic in the woods, was considered obscene by his contemporaries. It is this crude modernity that
prompted perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin to formulate this cologne. He decides to reinvent neroli with an overdose of light, creates a solar accord that places in the heart of the perfume then enriches it with white musks, amber notes and an overdose of oxygen that debase any preconception.
